Hailing from the most isolated capital city in the world, Perth in Western Australia, REMISSION have had to work harder than most in getting its face ripping melodic death/ thrash metal out to the world.  

Commanding the listener with the bands punishing speed, stunning technicality, and captivating melodic hooks, further heightened by the bands unrelenting visceral rage, REMISSION have slayed audiences across Australia and Asia, performing alongside acts such as CATTLE DECPAITATION, REVOCATION, PSYCROPTIC and TAAKE.  

The band’s debut album ‘The Tethers End’ received wide critical acclaim and was declared as the “melodic death metal album of the year” by No Clean Singing. REMISSION is now set to introduce its sophomore album ‘Impermanence’, which further calibrates its signature blend of volatility and melodic sensibility.  

In 2022 the band received the attention of New York based international agency Extreme Management Group, which added the band to its renowned roster alongside iconic acts such as SUFFOCATION, CRYPTOPSY, ORIGIN and MISERY INDEX.
